What to expect in a session
Whether you're new to clinical counselling or have past experience, it's natural to feel a bit unsure about what to expect from a session. The process is designed to make you feel comfortable and supported. Here's a typical timeline of how a counselling session with Sophia Belle might unfold:
Step 1 - Introduction
The first session is all about understanding. I take the time to familiarise myself with your current situation, challenges, and aspirations. You'll have the chance to express your thoughts and goals freely. This foundation is essential for establishing a productive coaching relationship.
Step 2 - Goal setting
Once we have a clear understanding of your situation, we move on to defining your goals. These can range from personal development to professional growth. We will set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals, providing clear direction for your coaching journey.
Step 3 - Developing action plans
Based on your goals, we then work together to develop a tailored action plan. This involves identifying the steps you need to take, resources you might need, and potential obstacles. We will also devise strategies to overcome these barriers, ensuring a smooth path towards your goals.

The practice is located at 9 Flora Street, Greenslopes, QLD 4120. We also offer video or telephone sessions for those who live outside of Brisbane.
